I was playing on tharridon and the server crashed?

Im unable to login now is there a problem with them server?

Dunno, last check from me and there was 4 servers down, Targonor (mine) went first, later checks added more. Sort of have to wonder if this was a scheduled they decided not to inform us of, or if they're having serious server issues (multiple crashes at once.. ouch)

Edit: Just checked vgplayers.com, it gives some minor details of an "emergency patch", and that all servers are coming down for approximately 1 hour.

Ok, fair enough when an "emergency" happens, do something about it, but for ##### sake, you cannot hope to tell me the techs are doing this ad-lib. They had to of sat down at a computer, built the patch/modified the required files. How fricken hard is it for GM's in game to throw an open announcement that "ALL servers will be taken down in XXXX minutes, for an emergency patch, lasting for approximately 1 hour."

Atleast that way you would have a few less pissed people, because they could of stopped doing anything which required no interruptions BEFORE they got dumped on their head.

As much as I repsect these companies I have to say I agree with you Axconis. The only thing I can think of is these guys might have been so hard at work or so "frantic" trying to get this little "Emergency" fixed that they never really thoguht about doing anything else. Such as warning the public.
