just curious I played Vanguard during beta and got banned for voicing my fears about what was happening to Vanguard once sony took over it was going way to fast they were pushing for a release date way to early long before it was ready....their response was to ban everyone who voiced this atitude well here we are its released hardly anyone plays it a game that could possibly be the game to end ALL games is a shell of its potential....so I will ask again are they going to try and save it or are they going to let it go like EQ2?

An opinion is different from a trollish statement, IMO...

I've already survived 4 "combat upgrades" compliments of SOE, I'd rather not survive a 5th. XD

Well, I wouldn't so much worry about SOE doing any upgrades to Vanguard (regardless of whether or not you like/dislike said upgrades and/or SOE). It's actually in the contact between Sigil and SOE that the latter has no control over the design of the game, they merely host the servers, market, distribute, and do out-of-game Customer Support for Vanguard. Sigil is in charge of the rest.

With recent developments, potentially for only a short amount of time. However, judging by the statements being released from Sigil, it seems very unlikely that any of that is going to change to soon. We'll see though.

Sadly, it seems Brad is about to pull another Verant with Sigil and take the money and run. But only time will tell. Personally my whole has already cancelled their account because the game continues to move farther and farther from its original vision.

I suppose it depends on what you considered the vision originally was, really. In some ways, I've seen it drift, but largely it looks like the main core is still pretty much there. That is, the particular audience they're trying to accommodate.
