The official Vanguard site has updated with a new feature profiling the game's developers. Giving rationale for each job and who's who in the Vanguard development world, here's a snippet of what you'll find:
Customer Service
Otherwise known as your friendly in-game Game Masters (GMs), the Customer Service team for Vanguard is compromised of many individuals who have decades of combined experience in gaming. In-game, they answer petitions that cover a multitude of issues from small, to somewhat bothersome. These individuals are our first line of defense in combating spammers, and they do a tremendous job of ensuring Telon is an enjoyable place to play.
In addition to in-game support, they also often engage in server events! GMs have the power to interact with players on a level that allows for live questing, often with unique rewards that are only given out by Game Masters. Although GM's have the ability to enhance game play through their live events, they have no tools to fix bugs, change game mechanics, stop time, or redesign your favorite game.
